Lindsay Town
Non-executive Chairman
A frequent public speaker, Lindsay brings with him over 35 years of experience in leasing and financial services having previously served on the boards of both Bank of Scotland Corporate and the Finance & Leasing Association. Lindsay began his career at North West Securities before joining Barclays Mercantile in 1978, followed by subsequent moves to Security Pacific, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Lloyds TSB and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lindsay was then headhunted to join Halifax (now HBOS) to lead and build a new Asset Finance business and was promoted to the board of Bank of Scotland, Corporate in October 2006.
Andrew Slatford
Non-executive Director
Andrew’s career in banking and leasing began in the early 80’s at Chemical Bank, and developed through senior roles as Vice President at Security Pacific EuroFinance, Chief Risk Officer at GE Corporate Financial Services Europe, and latterly European Credit & Risk Director at Key Equipment Finance. A regular speaker on risk management issues at industry events, Andrew’s diverse experience in credit management, operations, pricing and deal structuring delivers enormous insight into all facets of the leasing industry.
David de Silva
Director & Co-founder
David stared his career in the Film and Television arena, running a successful London-based production company. In the mid 90′s he moved in to computing, building an IT remarketing company with clients including BMW, Barclays Capital, BBC, Lufthansa, ABB, HP, IBM & Siemens. Later a specialist computer spares sales business was launched alongside IT remarketing followed by a corporate computer network support business.
Mike Chowney
Director & Co-founder
Mike, a qualified accountant, has over 10 years experience of international fraud prevention and auditing for companies such as AIG and Allianz. Mike has also held a number of senior positions including European CEO of NeoSearch@Ogilvy (a WPP company) and more recently European Managing Director of Kenshoo (a Sequoia Capital backed Israeli technology company).
Allan Gee
Director of Finance
Allan, a Chartered Certified Accountant, has over 50 years’ experience of accountancy, audit and financial services. Following 10 years working in local accountancy firms, Allan moved to Coopers & Lybrand in 1970 as Financial Services Audit Manager in the Bahamas. In 1979, Allan became Audit Partner at Ernst & Whinney (which later became Ernst & Young) where he opened and managed their office in Grand Cayman for the next 18 years. In 1997, Allan returned to the UK and for the following 13 years assumed the role of Group Financial Controller of an insurance management company in Guernsey.
Charles Singleton
Director of Technology
Having previously been Managing Director of an IT development, design & support company, Charles is a Senior Systems Architect with over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry. Charles has built up a wide range of technical knowledge and has developed stand-alone applications, multi-user interactive web solutions and mobile device based applications. Charles has extensive experience of developing, managing & supporting systems in a number of different environments, platforms and languages.
